Day 1 & 2 of my Isagenix Cleanse !!!

I cannot wait for summer to come, but between traveling and getting over the Holidays, I am not 100%  bikini ready yet. Two years ago I did a cleanse called Isagenix that helped me jump start my weight loss after gaining 10lbs due to stress and a move cross country , as well as motivate me to keep working hard. DAY 1!!! 
I tried to eat every 2 hours
9am-9:30am Today when I woke up I drank 1 bottle of water. Then I waited about 30minutes and made my first "meal"- My Isalean Vanilla shake and took my Accelorator. 
I bought myself the "bullet" blender from Bed Bath & Beyond. I added a hand full of ice cubes and then added enough water to equal 8oz. I put that in my bullet and then added 2 scoops of my shake and then blended. (Isagenix sells a blender as well.)

11:30am- For a mid-morning snack I ate 2 of the green tea chocolates " Isadelights plus" also from Isagenix.

1:30pm- This is my main meal on shake days. I had 3 small pieces of ahi tuna and a side of avocado with tomatoes.

3:30pm-Mid- Afternoon Snack- I had 2 of the "Isagenix snacks" that came with my 9 day cleanse and took another accelerator pill.

6:00pm- "Dinner"- Shake number 2. ( same as above )

So far I feel really great. Maybe a little cranky but I felt so focused and energized this morning after my first shake. With the meal plan it lists options that you can eat as your Mid- morning and Mid- afternoon snacks which is nice if you get bored easily because then you can switch it up.

Tomorrow is will be my second shake day and then I start my cleanse.
The 9 day cleanse is pretty intense, thats why I got the 30 day cleanse for my husband. You can choose how many "juice" days you want and customize the cleanse a lot more than you can with the 9 day cleanse. He's really excited to start it because he wants to lose about 15 lbs and feel healthier overall.

Day 2 !!!


I woke up at 9:00am this morning because I had a 10am training session. I again had a full glass of water, waited about 30 minutes and then had my first shake.

I went to the gym, worked out for an hour, came home and got to choose what I wanted for a mid-morning snack. I decided to go with the cleanse for life juice which comes with your 9 day cleanse. ( Its the juice you drink on your cleanse days)

For lunch I had tunafish mixed with cranberries and 1 teaspoon sunflower "mayo", 4 ritz crackers and a bottle of water.

Mid-afternoon snack I had 2 of the "snacks" that come in your 9 day cleanse. And then for dinner I'll have my 2nd shake for the day!

I may end up doing some cardio, crunches and some squats later on as well;I have a good amount of energy after the shakes!

Tomorrow is my cleanse day so Ill probably only go to the gym to do cardio and not lift since Ill be drinking just juice all day.

This whole process is also a lot easier when you have a friend or family member doing it with you- but I promise you will see results and won't be disappointed!

My Inspiration and Goals
When I first got into fitness I was 21 years old. I signed my first big endorsement with a supplement company called Met-Rx later working with BSN and STS supplements and competing in the NPC - (National Physique Committee)  placing 2nd my first competition.


My Inspiration!!!
 Jennifer Nicole Lee is a HUGE fitness model and has been on Oprah, tons of covers etc. The first time I ever saw her was on the cover of Fitness Rx magazine I think back in 2006; I still have that exact magazine to this day. She has an amazing body , she's thin but has shape; not too skinny, she looks healthy and is toned. I have just always loved her and her look; She has always been an inspiration to me. Not to mention she is in her mid - late 30's and a mother of 2!!
